Our Services
At the office of Dr. Lindsay Minor, we’re proud to offer comprehensive dental care tailored to your unique needs. From prevention to restoration and everything in between, we’re here to keep your smile healthy and confident.
Preventative Dentistry
Regular dental exams and teeth cleanings are the foundation of long-term dental health. During your cleaning, we will thoroughly cleanse your teeth and gums, removing any plaque or debris from every surface in your mouth. We recommend scheduling routine cleanings and exams every six months for most patients. Good at-home hygiene habits, in combination with professional cleanings, can keep your smile free from decay and other oral health issues like gum disease. Regular exams allow us to monitor your oral health so we can address any minor concerns before they become larger, more costly, and more invasive issues.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is more than just whitening. We can help you uncover the power of a gorgeous smile and boost your self-esteem with veneers or bonding. In fact, modern advancements in cosmetic dentistry have made it possible for patients to achieve nearly perfect teeth with cosmetic enhancements and restorations that are virtually undetectable to friends and family.
Veneers are a thin porcelain covering that offer a solution for fixing spaces, discoloration and misshaped teeth with permanent restorations.
Composite Bonding is a more conservative approach to transform your smile. We can cover up minor chips, cracks, and stains by applying a color-matched composite resin to your teeth.
Whitening
Over time, stain-inducing beverages, smoking, and thinning enamel can dim the brightest smile. We can help you find the best at-home whitening treatment for you!
Custom Whitening Trays are professionally crafted to fit your teeth perfectly and allow a more precise application of the whitening gel. They come with syringes of peroxide gel. Custom trays can require about two weeks of use for maximum whitening.
Whitening Strips are flexible pre-filled strips are easy to use and conform to any smile. They come in sets of 10. The ease of use and whitening improvements, make them a slam dunk!
Restorative Dentistry
When restorative care is needed, our team focuses on repairing and improving the health, comfort, and stability of your smile as quickly as possible. From simple procedures like dental fillings, to more complex solutions like dental prosthetics and root canal therapy, restorative dentistry aims to revitalize decayed or damaged teeth.
Fillings - Cavities are one of the most common oral diseases, so it's important to treat them as soon as they begin to compromise the health of your teeth. When left untreated, they can cause serious discomfort and may require more invasive procedures to alleviate discomfort. With modern dental fillings, we can stop the progression of tooth decay and use tooth-colored composites to restore your smile.
Crowns are porcelain, zirconia or gold coverings that function as a protective layer for your natural tooth. They can revive your smile if you are struggling with cracked or broken teeth. If you have undergone a root canal, a crown is typically recommended to protect the tooth.
Bridges - With a dental bridge, the space left behind by one, or several, missing teeth can be permanently covered. The bridge is permanently attached to your teeth on either side of the gap and is made to blend in with your smile. If you are missing a tooth, a bridge keeps your teeth from shifting and reduces the risk of bone loss and problems with your bite.
Root Canal Therapy offers a solution to treat and preserve teeth that are infected or a source of a serious toothache. When the pulp, the live portion of the tooth that extends into the root becomes infected, patients can experience pain, swelling and even total tooth loss unless treated. During a root canal procedure, the infected pulp of the tooth is removed, and the area is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Once the tooth has been properly treated, it can be restored with a filling or a dental crown to help maintain its structure. In some cases, an antibiotic is prescribed to help prevent further infection within the tooth. Not only can root canal therapy alleviate the pain caused by the infection, but it can also prevent the need for a tooth extraction.
Tooth Extractions are routine dental procedures used to remove decayed, damaged or problematic teeth. We make every effort to preserve natural teeth but sometimes an extraction is necessary. Decaying teeth can be removed to alleviate your discomfort or to make room for dental implants, a bridge, or a removable prosthetic.
Clear aligner therapy offers a modern alternative to traditional braces by using custom-made, clear thermoplastic aligners. They're almost invisible, making them a great option if you want to straighten your teeth discreetly. Ideal for correcting crowded teeth or gaps, clear aligners are comfortable, effective, and designed to fit seamlessly into your life.
Braces are the standard for orthodontic correction, but few adults want to wear a mouthful of metal for a year or more while teeth are moved into better alignment. Clear Correct addresses this problem by offering a discreet alternative to metal braces. With Clear Correct treatment, there are no brackets and wires. Instead, you’ll receive a customized series of clear aligners that you’ll wear for at least 22 hours every day. The aligners will straighten the teeth little by little over the course of several months or years until you achieve your cosmetic goals.
